Music enriches our worship together, and in our two Churches we use a variety of styles to help us all engage in the worship of God, and to be stirred by his presence. At St Luke's, most Sundays our music is led by the choir and organist, sometimes being accompanied by other musicians. On the second Sunday of each month at St Luke's, guitars replace the organ as our band lead us using more contemporary music. At the 9:15 service at St Bart's, our organist accompanies the singing of hymns either from the English Hymnal or Hymns Ancient and Modern.
St Luke's maintains a traditional 3/4 part robed choir specializing in traditional and contemporary Anglican repertoire. The choir plays an integral part during the Sunday services by helping to lead the sung worship elements of the responsorial psalms, hymns, and anthems during Communion. Find out more here.
We also offer the opportunity for children to join 'Erleigh Voices', our junior choir who enjoy singing with the main choir each week whilst benefiting from free musical training from our Director of Music.
