Come and celebrate Christmas at St Luke's and St Bart's, with a whole host of festive services to choose from.
Friday 8 December 7pm St Bart's
This is perfect for those who prefer a relaxed approach to carols and Christmas!
The bar will be open, Carol sheets given out on the tables,
and we shout out the carols we want to sing around the piano.
Carols by Candlelight
Sunday 18 December 6:30pm St Luke's
The sight of candles flickering in the windows, the sound of carols being sung with a choir and pipe organ, the smell of mulled cider and mince pies: can you imagine a better way to start the week leading up to Christmas Day? Come and sing all of the festive favourites, listen to the readings and choir, and know that Christmas is nearly here.
Thursday 22 December 6pm St Luke's
The mix of traditional carols and the making of the Advent Christingle out of oranges and sweets makes this a perfect time for people of all ages to come together and celebrate the light that shines in the darkness.
Saturday 24 December 4pm
The Crib service is the highlight for so many local families that we always have two!
At St Luke's all ages come together for a loud, lively, and really fun pantomime of a service with carols, Christmas songs, hidden crib figures that need to be found and brought to the crib on time, and a prize for the best worst Christmas jumper!
At St Bart's we have a quieter service that is especially suitable for families with very small children, or those who prefer a quieter Christmas Eve. Feel free to bring your own cuddly toy sheep with you!
Saturday 24 December 11:30 St Luke's
This beautiful, festive service is the perfect start to Christmas Day. Come and join us as we welcome the Christ-child through carols, readings, prayers for peace, and Holy Communion.
Christmas Morning Celebration Communion
Christmas Day 10:30 St Luke's
Our classical instrumentalists lead us in the singing of some fantastic carols as all ages gather together to celebrate Christmas Day in this family friendly Communion service. Children are encouraged to bring along a gift they have received to open as part of the service.
